WEDDINGS

Marrying in church is personal, meaningful and spiritual just as you want it to be. Churches are special and unique places to get married in - the prayers, promises and the whole service of celebration become part of your marriage, on the day itself and beyond.

Today more than a quarter of all marriages in England take place before God in the traditional setting of a church. You're welcome to marry in church what ever your beliefs, whether or not you are baptised and whether or not you go to church.

For price enquiries and availability please email us or call the Church Office, or for more information visit The Church of England website.

Baptism

BAPTISMS

In baptism, parents thank God for his gift of life, make a decision to start the child on the journey of faith and ask for the Church's support.

We are delighted to offer baptisms to our local community and we love seeing our community grow, however this does mean there can be a wait of up to 9-months for baptisms. It's worth starting the conversation about your baptism well in advance. Thank you for your patience and we look forward to meeting you.

Confirmation marks the point in the Christian journey when you affirm the faith into which you were baptised.

If you wish to discuss baptism or confirmation, please email us or call the Church Office, or for more information visit The Church of England website.

FUNERALS

A funeral marks the close of a human life on earth. It is the opportunity for friends and family to express their grief, to give thanks for the life which has now completed its journey in this world.

If someone you know and love has died, or dies within the next few days, whatever cause, a small funeral, led by a Church of England minister can still be held in church, in a churchyard, by a graveside, or at a crematorium.

For price enquiries and availability please email us or call the Church Office, or for more information visit The Church of England website.
